The Archdiocese of Birmingham - The Parish of the Immaculate Conception

Supporting the Parishes of The Immaculate Conception, Bicester, and The Holy Trinity, Hethe, financially.

The Collections taken at the Sunday Masses sadly only go part way meeting the financial needs of the parish. In order to supplement the parish income a number of fundraising and social activities are arranged throughout the year. Details of these are announced in the Weekly Newsletter, church notice board or website. These range from the ubiquitous summer fete and Christmas bazaar, to concerts, quiz nights, themed social evenings, parish talent shows and the much anticipated legendary Indian cuisine evening from Fr. John. But as well as being very necessary fundraisers, the events organised, and hopefully all tastes are catered for, do also provide an excellent vehicle for parishioners to socialise and to get to know each other in a more relaxed atmosphere than that offered by the church building. Most events are reasonably priced and on balance offer good value for money when compared with non-parish events.

But, events such as these do not organise and run themselves. Behind each there is a team of volunteers that makes these things happen. Help is always required in any capacity. If you can help in any way, no matter how insignificant that assistance may appear your efforts will be much appreciated.
