Fr. Thomas Foynes taking part in a Corpus Christi Procession somewhere in Bicester. The Blessed Sacrament is being carried in a monstrance held through a humeral veil by the priest whose face is obscured by the elbow of the figure on the extreme right of the picture. The picture illustrates the two styles of chasuble worn by Catholic clergy. Fr. Foynes is wearing the fuller gothic style of chasuble - the black object that he has in his hand could be a baretta. The priest immediately behing him is wearing the latin style of chasuble which stops at the shoulders leaving the arms free.

Thank you to Jean McIntosh for the loan of the photograph.
