Another picture of a May Procession kindly lent by Jean McIntosh. Led by the cross bearer and acolytes the procession is making its wy down Priory Road towards the old Catholic church. The procession seems to have attracted the attention of a number of presumably non-Catholic youngsters. Before the Catholic Church hurch opened up following the Second Vatican Council much of what Catholics did might have seemed strange to the non-Catholic majority.
